    Oh Yeah...
    That was a GREAT fight,and I believe if had gone on to the second round Ms. Carano would have been that much more rattled for losing the first so badly and got her pretty lil' ass whooped. There is no greater hurdle we have to clear as fighters as self doubt or an overwhelming fear of an opponent! I have met plenty of fighters that should have done a much better job against me but were spooked by the fact that I am rediculously aggressive and have never been knocked out due to having been blessed with an Iron Jaw! Not to say it Can't happen it just hasn't happened! Peace out Y'all

    So all you morons that reduce these women to objects of sexual desire should just go play on the interstate! If any of you met Cristiane up close and personal you would realize she is a very beautiful young woman and her husband is a lucky son of a gun! To "kid" I would love to see those photos and you are right about Cris she is a complete sweet heart and a way better fit as the representative of womens MMA as she is not the pretty little girl next door but a dedicated and very deserving fighter! To "ex-gymnast" and all you other douchebags who accuse Cris of being a juicer,you obviously know nothing about genetics or extreme dedication,hard work,and nutrition! That woman trains like a fu#$ing Titan...the ref warned Cris about fingers "IN" the eye but watch again and you will clearly see she most certainly did not finger Gina's eyes though her fingers were close,Cris is a very honorable fighter and need not rely on cheap ass antics. Gina dropped the ball big time by not being more aggressive about trying to retain the mount but she did not "LET" Cris up,Cris has Herculean strength and just simply powered out of that shit just like she powered through Gina's punches so as to slug her right back and prove to all who the woman is at her core! I will bet my last dollar if you let me mount you and start smashing your pretty lil' grill for 45 seconds or so and you ain't got the tools to get out o' that shit you beg the ref to stop it,bell be damned! If you go back and study this UFC business from the beginning you will see that there has always been some discrepancy when it comes to the bell...In fact I was just watching an old video where Big John McCarthy tells the fighters to "forget the bell and listen to his commands"! To "Kenny Florian",I hope you smash BJ next time out and take the belt from that Freakin ego-maniac...I used to like the dude for his ability but have much more respect for you,for your humility! Do us all a favor people, if you have never fought at a competitive level keep your fools opinion to your damn self! And if you have,try to have some respect for your fellow athletes in this game...all your bullshit reduces all of us to the level of the WWF or the NFL! Let's leave all the cynicism and garbage to Dana White, he's got more than enough for all of us thanks!

    gina carano clearly has better skills than cyborg. cyborg can't even stantd with her on the outside. the only thing that cyborg has is inside striking- not because of skill, but rather because of her insane power. cyborg is clearly on steroids. as far as technique is concerned, gina carano is still the best female mma fighter. i am not trying to dismiss cyborg's skill but anyone saying she is more skilled than gina never put gloves on their hands, obviously... one more chute box fighter who is juicing...nice...

    Gina could have won this fight, but she was clearly too tentative and probably not in her best shape. Cyborg was clearly the aggressor and clearly came to fight. She is obviously less concerned about appearing in Maxim or FHM. I don't mean to deride Gina, but she's clearly a better fighter than she showed in this match. Sometimes even a good fighter needs to feel what it's like to get hit... for real.

    I stayed at the same hotel as Cyborg and she was hella cool. She very nice and down to earth. She actually really pretty when she got dress up for her after party. She took 3 picture with me. 1 before the match and one after the match with the belt. then she got all dressed up with a black dress with the belt Strikeforce belt on. She really awsome WAR CYBORG

    Wow! what a great fight these girls were FIGHTING! The ref actually stopped it after the horn for the round break. I actually thought he should have stopped it sooner. But both fighters looked good rematch should be good or one sided. Maybe the best one-round fight I have ever seen.

    Gina is a cool girl, very attractive and she is a good fighter, but she got destroyed and manhandled by Cyborg. Cyborg just came down on her like a tornado, fair and square. Gina needs to move around more, increase in power and then we have a great rematch.

    I liked the fight. better than the first couple of fights on that card. Dreamcatcher was bada$$. did it without breaking a sweat. But yeah, I'm looking forward to Carano v Cyborg II. If anything blame the ref, if he only would have waited for one more second it could have been a whole diff fight....

    That was a great fight and showed alot of courage from both fighters
    They both deliver power punching and it was full speed pace from the start of the round to the end!
    Cyborg defnatly was dominating the exchages, but Gina was right there and also looked dangerous, really i think it was only at the end where Gina caught a couple bad hits and was to tired to recover. It was good stopage but was also a good fight anyways Gina stil rules,and all the pissant mofos going on about Cyborg n so forth its very disrespectful, go say that to her face u pansies

    worst experience of my life
    of course cyborg is on juice!! b4 i started training bjj and muay thai i was very big into bodybuilding and took a shitload of juice hgh igf1 u name it i took it anyway i started dating this gorgeous chik i met in the gym. long story short she wanted 2 b a bodybuilder she started stacking test and deca we stopped talking shrtly after that saw her a year and 20lbs later she was jacked but still pretty. i hung with her one night we got drunk then went 2 her place, turned the lights off and i dont know what made me go down on her but for a moment there i thought she had a sex change or something cuz something poked my nose i saw her clit is not like u could miss it, that shit was the size of a 2 inch thumb!!! i puked she kicked me out never saw her again. and the moral of the story is dont mess with muscular chiks they got dicks... sorry had 2 share that cyborgs built reminded me of her or it. worst day of my life.

    This fight was great. Gina and Chris put up a damn good show. You could tell by the excitement of the crowd. Cyborg, she fought better. Period. And godamn, all those assholes who keep posting about how they would love to get mounted by Carano or Santos has a dick are really sorry losers. This ain't no beauty contest. This is MMA.     Anyone else notice how ridiculous "cyborg" looked when each of her take down attempts ended up pulling gina almost into a full mount ontop of herself. "Cyborg" the jiu-jitsu specialist??? How embarassing for her teacher. And Gina sucks even worse.....this is a title fight? No disrespect to women in general but if these two are the best female mma fighters out there, then no serious mma fan is going to want to watch women's mma bouts except for the novelty of it all and the titties maybe.

    Wow, that was brutal. Cyborg really is a cyborg. She ate Gina's punches for breakfast and then punched the shit out of her. What was that, 3 takedowns in 1 round? I'm surprised Gina let go of the mount. That was a dumb move in my opinion. Still, she probably would have lost either way. Cyborg just mauled her. I think Gina got scared after the first flurry. That chick looks like she hits hard.


    The rest of you virgins need to grow up. It was a good fight. I've seen UFC fights far more boring than that on the main card/as the main event. Hughes vs. Serra comes to mind. It was a good fight and Cyborg is a beast, not a man. Grow up, losers, and maybe one day you'll have sex with a girl.

    Steroids in womens MMA
    As a former gymnast turned Pro-Fitness competitor, I can tell you women can get 6 packs and look pretty hard even doing it "all natural" with intense diet and training. But, Cyborg, hands down, was juicing for her training. If you can't tell that, then you don't know what to look for or you just don't care. Since MMA can't seem to keep steroids out of their events, then they should create 2 separate arenas for athletes on and off the juice. As much as I can see Cyborg having better technique and skills than Gina, it's just not fair to put a steroid driven engine up against Gina who is obviously trying to do it as an honest natural athlete. That will always win my respect win or lose. I get it that roided up aggression sells tickets, it's what keeps the IFBB alive, but don't think you're comparing apples to apples when natural has to fight steroids either. I'm glad Gina doesn't juice herself to the man's body and stamina. I will still alway prefer to watch the fights without the roids!

    I luv to watch Gina fight, but last night she got her butt handed to her, watching Cyborg I dont think she would test positive, I believe she knew this was a main event and she had nothing to lose and everything to gain most people surpass the pressure or crumble and Cyborg just happen to want it more, Gina has money fame and photoshoots, Im sure she thought she has the fight in the bag and thats when a nobody comes along and POUNDS YOU! hats off to Cyborg!

    I just wonder if Gina trained well enough. SHe has said .....with her other fights that she didnt train too much. All her other opponents were no match for her....so now Gina just had to face the fact that there was another hard core contender ...that really would give her the fight of her life . I still think Gina is a great fighter.....but needs to regroup and reevaluate .

    This is the end of women's MMA. There were two women that mattered at all and now we know that only one matters.

    While I was watching this it reminded me of watching little kids playing sports. Sure it is the same sport but its hard to watch. Cyborg's takedowns consistantly resulted in her being on the bottom and the rest of the fight was sloppy.

    I can't believe that this was a main event in any promotion. What a joke. If Gina was not hot nobody would care. Lets be honest.

    carano's camp would have thrown the towel in the 2nd round anyway. that's a very well timed stoppage IMO. saved them from embarrassment. saved Ginas lovely face. saved her fighter's pride. everyone went home happier than they ought to be. end of story

    Both women had crazy adrenaline going on. Not a whole lot of stand up technique by Carano. Why the hell did she get off of Cyborg when she had full mount? Cyborgs take downs were sloppy, she often ended up on the bottom. Still, Cyborg powered right though Carano. I think its to soon to say the womens MMA has arrived. I dont really know the womens rankings but who are they gonna get to fight Cyborg that will be as big a draw as Carano?

    Awesome fight!!!!! Gina fought rlly hard against a woman who looked like a tough fighter and caught her with some nice punches and got out of some nasty submissions too. i bet those kicks hurt her and still had cyborg taking a step or 2 back. they both fought hard for 5 minutes and alougth i wanted it to go on for a anougher round cyborg ended up dominating cant take nothing from her she kicks ass for sure.peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yea....with how manly cyborgs body looks, it's hard not to consider the possibility that she might have taken something, but there are so many it's impossible to test for them all.

    Being completely unbiased about this, that stoppage was clean. Gina was not defending herself nor trying to advance out of the position she was in.She was getting pounded.Not the refs job to check the short time.

    I think Gina lost this fight before she stepped in the cage. That was a mental loss more than anything else. Her footwork looked great, using angles etc....but she was fighting scared and was making dumb mistakes out of being nervous.Her stand-up to me looked good. If she had of slowed the pace,tied Cyborg up by clinching more, worked leg/body kicks more to slow her down and took this fight to the later rounds, I honestly think she could have taken that. She had the mount and let it go! Huge mistake! She was scared of Cyborg...that won't work, respect her but never fear shit.Cyborg is far from unbeatable, her charging in, typical Chute Box aggressive style will get her KO'd by a good heavy handed counter striker in due time.
