Famed boxing promoter Don King, who once joined the likes of Bob Arum in trashing the world’s fastest growing sport, can no longer ignore the dollar signs attached to the millions of loyal fans it now draws.
“UFC is a great contribution. It’s a return to glory for people who like sophisticated barbarism. Dana White and (co-founder) Lorenzo Fertitta have done a phenomenal job. I’m the people’s promoter. Whatever the people want, I’m going to promote. Whatever the public wants, that’s what I want to give them. I want to give it to them with candor so they can quantify, qualify and identify with whoever the athlete is. Who am I to say that something is wrong with them when I’m always crying about, ‘Why you’re treating me this way?’ They bring competition. They bring people. Let’s enrich it and monetize it. Let’s bring the people something. When I bring my guys in we’ll be getting prepared to take on Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta in their league vs. our league. The same thing I want to do with the sport of boxing I want to do with MMA. Make it competitive, man. Make it a comparison. Even though they’ve put on good fights, let’s see what they do with someone totally independent.”

D King will get almost any fighter he wants,He will flash the big bucks in front of them and offer good deals (Like being able to fight other places ) Something Dana doesnt allow. Fighters will flock to him like crazy! Boxers did it and kept doing it and so will mma fighters. Dana will need to step up his game,Offer more money and let fighters like FEDOR come into the UFC with some of the things he wants.
I hated Don King but he knew how to make the money and get the fighters. I would hate to see him come into mma!! I hope he doesn't

By all reports Big Don has some big plans, I am not sure what Dana will do when Don offer brock lesnar 10M to fight Fedor in a one of belt...Lesnar will need to fight about 20 fight to make that much in the UFC, whilst Don King is a rat bag let's not kid ourselves, he might just be able to put on the super MMA belts

Amazing, now everyone wants to be involved in MMA, even Mayweather. The only problem is, there getting into MMA purely for money, and not for the sport itself. No matter what, Dana and the UFC Have the best Organization, and Fighters. You could undoubtedly say that Dana tries his best to give the fans what they want, and for the most part, He Always delivers. Dana and Lorenzo aren't only great business men, but they also love the Sport, that's a big factor in there success, and that's what people like Don King lack.
