  I don't understand why people are up in arms over this, but nobody makes a peep about rampages excessive hits on wanderlei silva after the ref stopped that one, too. To me, both are despicable, and warrant discipline.

  it was the referee's fault because the ref was on the side of jan nortje waving his hand where sokoudjou couldn't see it. The ref should have sheilded nortje more by putting his body on nortje Because sokoudjou was focused on winning the fight. if the ref covers up nortje, he doesn't get hit with unnessary blows
