    honestly fedor didn't look to impressive until the last second of this fight. i really believe if he were to EVER come to the ufc he wouldn't stand a chance against Brock lesnar. i'm a fedor fan and yes i know that hes "the best pound for pound fighter" in this sport but its all about match ups.

    Hands down Fedor is a great fighter, but if he trys to fight brock lesnar he will only get donkey punched in the head. Its hard to give up almost 80 pounds of solid muscle and 7inches of reach to someone who beat Frank Mir in his prime condition like a little girl. Rogers got thrown around easy by Fedor, this would be all but impossible with Lesnar he has the strength and conditioning that Rogers lacks big time!!

    Can I just say to anyone in this forum who is still in any doubt about whether Fedor dominated Rogers, please watch a replay of this match again.

    Step 1 - It's important you to turn the volume down to reduce the irritating voices of the poor commentary so you don't get carried away with the over excited commentary like (I quote) "Fedor doesn't know what he's doing in a cage"

    Step 2 - Watch how many times Fedor drops or throws Rogers to the floor. Even if you have not competed or trained in any grappling or striking disciplines you must recognise that Fedor is always in control and steering where the fight goes.

    Step 3 - Now you have finished watching please go and get up to speed with who Fedor is and how he fights. You will see he has been in much more trouble in man other fights however always stays calm and overcomes his opponant.

    One day Fedor may loose but even if you are just a casual UFC fan you must acknowledge that Fedor is a master of fighting. Fedor fights with pure killer instinct and strategy, he always executes his gameplan.

    I believe Brock may prove to be a good test for Fedor, yet he too will ultimately bedropped or subbmitted. yet I also believe Rogers would have a good shot at disposing Brock on his feet.

    Whateve happens people will always find an excuse to avoid likingor unerstanding how good Fedor reall is....

    Fedor is not the most skilled fighter in the world. He is very skilled in all areas of MMA, but what he is is the smartest fighter in the world and he has the best chin i have ever seen. Oh, and he uses his hands like boulders.Brett earned some respect. H landed some big shots on Fedor, and no one has ever mounted and pounded on Fedor like that. Fedor is the best but Brett showed that he is a man and gave Fedor somthing to think about if they have a rematch anytime soon.

    Brett show some respect please! And stop making excuses. You loss. If you are upset with your performance be quiet about it, go back to the gym, work on it, and then make sure you never repeat the same mistakes. Out in the public's eye is the time to be gracious and respectful in defeat ...Fedor was in victory. Also, if you saw a lot of openings like you said you did and did not take them, or more likely couldn't react quick enough to take them, that was your mistake. Fedor brings great skills and attributes to his fights ...the best probably being his ability to see an opening and immediately react. That's how he has won so many of his fights. He's a smart fighter with the ability to adjust midstream in a fight. This sets him apart from so many fighters and makes him so difficult to beat. People forget intelligence is also required to make really great fighters ...not just brute strength.

    Man, Rogers nearly got KO'd the first round and nearly submitted twice. We can all make bullshit excuses, if rogers had have come at Fedor more agressive he'd have been Ko'd even quicker. Did you see the amount of blood in fedors eyes at end of round 1, he could bearly see the whole of round 1 and still nearly finished the guy. Rogers meant to have a massive punch, but couldn't finish him with ground and pound. I'll guarantee you one think Rogers would beat Lesnar No probs. It seems to me that, for the Fedor haters, doesn't matter who he beats it won't be good enough. If the guy KO'd Superman you'd be sayin Superman was no good.     No, he didn't submit Rogers or keep him down but he did throw him around like a rag doll. Also, Rogers never mounted Fedor, he landed on him backwards after avoiding an arm bar and promptly got put on his back. Furthermore, Rogers only landed three or four meaningful punches. He did better than most have and is, by virtue of that performance, a top ten HW but to say that Fedor did anything other than dominate Rogers is just silly.

    Holy crap. It's like a Macy's Thanksgiving day parade of people lined up to suck off Fedor. I give Fedor his respect, he pulled it off. But I'll say this, Rogers did not get "Knocked out", he got dazed and it was obviously stopped very quickly. Fedor had a lot of trouble with Rogers size and speed. I believe he underestimated him.

    FEDOR is a true Master..what a fight. One of the best displays ever and Clubber was suprisingly good if not great, considering. Fedor couldn't control him on the ground and got pounded down there pretty good. I like Brett Rogers, he's got better all-round game than expected and will improve.
    Anyone can get caught but his was a better fight than most UFC shows,
    and THIS is what DANA White really wants...combination standup and ground game, over kickboxing and karate. BRETT could take anybody in the UFC ( BROCK has NO chin and would go down easy, plus has no MMA skills other than smother wrestling).     Rogers ist showing respect, fedor is as always relaxed and calmed down. The diference is that Fedor has loose over the years, BUT NOT IN MMA. There is some of its big advantages, he is not worried about showing nothing, its just hes work.

    Wow Fedor's nuts must be warm from all the guys constantly hugging them.

    He didn't submit Rogers, he couldn't keep him down, he got mounted by a guy that "has no ground game", he has the broken nose and messed up hand, he is the one that looks like a crash test dummy.

    He is lucky that he had that one punch.

    For all the Fedor fans saying that he was going to walk through Rogers I would have thought that this would have been a disappointment. HE did not look anything special until the last second of the fight.

    Rogers is a good guy, hopefully he can get a few wins and maybe a rematch. He is young and only lost to the best fighter in the last ten years!
