  i hate strikeforce but i hate shinya aoki more and gill will destroy him. aoki has no stand up and thats a fact. gill is an all round MMA fighter and will win. however where the fight takes place will be a major factor not just because of fan support and home field advantage but also because if its in japan aoki has a huge chance at winning because it will be in a boxing ring and vice versa if its held in the US

  aoki may not be dangerous standing up, but he has face many great standup fighers who are good on the ground and has beaten all of them. i like melendez, but i think it might be too hard for him to stay outta aoki's crazy submissions. i know gilbert trains with a lot of great ground fighters, but aoki is very sneaky with what he does. and when he feels he has any chance at an arm or a leg, he doesn't let go til he gets it.
