TUF 10 Finale: Jon Jones vs Matt Hamill Possible for Dec. 5

There’s a potential “Battle of the Buffalo area” brewing for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 5.

Iowa Central Community College national wrestling champion and undefeated blue chip MMA prospect, Jon Jones, is currently in talks to meet former TUF 3 alum and three–time Division III national wrestling champion from Rochester Institute of Technology, Matt Hamill.

Both fighters share similar strengths and ties to the upstate New York region. More on this 205-pound match up in a bit.

TUF 10 is scheduled to debut on Spike TV on Sept. 16, 2009, at 10 p.m. ET. Former Elite XC posterboy Kimbo Slice, as well as a former IFL champion Roy Nelson, several NFL players and others, will duke it out for a “six figure” UFC contract. It will be the first TUF season to feature heavyweights since the second season in late 2005.

    You're a dumb mother f*****. Kimbo Slice has recently had some of the best training in the world and he still can't beat this fat bastard. Kimbo Slice obviously sucks and can't sell tickets for shit. No bodys watching this season TUF because of Kimbo Slice, they're watching it because it's TUF.

    dude this is a jon jones article why is someone trying to spoil the kimbo fight even if anyone believes you your still an assjockey and if that is how the fight goes oh well kimbo will still fight in the finale so it does not really matter kimbo is selling more tickets than your unmentioned cousin and if you wont say his name its probably cause he got his ass kicked anyways so shut the f*** up

    Hamill might want to take it to the ground if he wants a decision win. otherwise Jones will out box him..... i like em both and would prefer they not fight each other. Remember when Bisping got rewarded that bullshit decision over Hamill?? Sorry still pissed....

    jon jones wicked striker,but in the shields fight,was leaving self bit open when shoves w/both arms and ducks forward....and will he handle hammills top game 'if' (when) it goes to ground? should be interesting...a good test bones(&hammer;)

    Jon jones is the man! his the next GSP the guy have real skills , true Mix Martial arts skills , greco roma wrestling with sick striking! and moves from movies! the guy was the younger UFC fighter a few mouths ago not to mention his undefeated!

    i love kimbo so much, he is a good fighter, man hes going in theire to fight huge guys, notice he is the smallest. Any other of you guys including my self would run away from a fight and even quicker when its a guy thats a head taller. Props to Kimbo, i like that ****

    Kimbo respect.
    I like Kimbo he seems a really nice family guy & hope he does well in TUF. I dont think he will win it. But he was training with Bas Rutten who is a legend in MMA so I think some people are talking shit about Kimbo way to early.

    he might bring in some veiwers in ufc, but if he couldnt hang in elite xc, how the hell is he gonna compete with frank mir, brock lesnar, fedor, or shit even after nogs proformance this past week? he prolly should continue streetfighting.

    LOL all the TUF noobs just talking about Kimbo in the Ultimate Fighter meanwhile there are alot of interesting fighters that are coming up (i.e. mentioned above, the Hazelett vs. Parysian, Bisping vs. Kang, most of the Dream 11 card etc)

    hmmmmm....That should be an interesting match, we know that Hamill has sick wrestling and is strong as an ox but IMO Jones has far better standup skills (remembering the Bonner match).

    I'm thinking Jones on this onl he's got good wrestling and as stated before really good standup. I see him using his angles and picking Hamill apart unfortunately.

    Are you serios, because the gym is in Vegas and i saw kimbo with all thease fighters and dana in the hard rock and they were saying kimbo just got caught, that can happen to anyone, soo it means kimbo really lost if this guy on top knows wat he is telling....

    you know what guys i like to spoil it all for you, i am a cousin from a fighter, sry cant tell u who, but kimbo will loose his first fight round 1 and the fight doesnt even go to the ground. First takedown kimbo stuffed but got knocked out in the 4 minit. Look ohhh big spoiler, NOT we all knew its a huge risk for a pimp and gangster like kimbo to go in against athlets.
    Kimbo should stop smoking dope, maybe then.
