With Pellegrino Hurt, Matt Veach to Face Frank Edgar at TUF 10

H.I.T. Squad product Matt Veach will fill-in for the injured Kurt Pellegrino and take on Frank Edgar at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 Finale from the “The Pearl” at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 5.

MMAmania learned about the replacement earlier this afternoon shortly after news broke that “Batman” suffered a back injury during training.

TUF 10 Finale will feature the top two finalists from the Spike TV reality show, as well as a light heavyweight war featuring Jon “Bones” Jones against Matt “The Hammer” Hamill.

frankie edgar should be fighting his last step fight to the title some top contender so he can get the title fight if he win! maybe kenflo , roger huerta , nate diaz! , franki its almost undefeated! his only loss was 2 years ago by a desicion! and since them his like on a 4 winning streak including sean sherk! he should be more main stream!

Frankie and Grey Maynard have fought, but that was like two years ago and both of those guys are in the top five wating for a title shot right now in my opinion. Both of them are fighting soon and they are both fighting less accomplished fighters. They are trap fights though, and if either of them lose which could happen, (maynard is fitghting nate diaz) then they will be screwed. At the very least they should be fighting each other in an elimination match to see who will fight the winner of Penn/Sanchez.

Unfortunately, another injury. Hope its not serious. Looking forward to see Frankie get the win. He always has exciting fights. The win over Sherk proves that hes one of the top fighter in his division. I hope he could get a title fight in the near future.

I wasnt looking forward to L&P Pellegrino fighting anyway, but at least this Veach dude is undefeated so I dunno...

...I'd still pick Edgar.
