“Isn’t that a dirty [expletive] thing to do? He [expletived] me. The first time in the history of the company I do one over the phone. He promised me a three-fight deal and he [expletived] me…. He didn’t keep his word. He talked about honor and all this other [expletive] and he [expletived] me. He fed me this bull [expletive] about wanting to take a run for the title, and what I think he did was, he went out and did this. He turned down every other [expletive] fighter I offered him, because I needed him to fight Cain. He didn’t just poke Al-Turk; he poked me, too.”

    Cro Cop has had the short end of the stick so many times, hes taken more shots to the nuts then anyone I've ever met and keeps fighting almost every time / taken a VERY LUCKY headkick by a nobody fighter, what a fluke! so piss off all you who are diss'n him! Dana's a money hungry selfish brat who it jelous at every single fighter in the UFC b/c they can actualy fight

    Mirko's day is done and he knows it. He's just looking for a paycheck. The Al Turke win was pathetic. I'm sure if i threw my fingers into somebody's eye ball at 50 mph i could beat them up too.

    Exactly, like mirko said for national TV in croatia, he wants to fight, to show all that said his era is behind him, i think he got a morale boost after eye poke ;-)

    Respect Mirko, we all love you, keep up the good fights, and dont worry, you have a good future ahead, bot now and in retirement since you were the member of croatian Parliament and for that you have a huge pension, smart moves trough his all life

    Ppl please, Mirko is going to Dream, because they are offering him 3 fights in 2009. , and in UFC he would fight just one more time in this year, because most of fights are arranged... He has 35 years and he can't wait 6 months for one fight, thats mirko said and its a true totally understand him, years are pressing him

    lol this is funny i dont think he will fight in the ufc anymore and how will he face carwin in ufc 104 if he only had a 1 fight deal and then ends up running back to dream lol

    I'd like to actually hear Mirkos side of the story on this one.

    I'm in now way defending him if its true, but it's nice to see Dana get some of his own medicine for once tho.

    Mirko is going to Dream, because they are offering him 3 fights in 2009. , and in UFC he would fight just one more time in this year, because most of fights are arranged... He has 35 years and he can't wait 6 months for one fight. I think when he complete 3 fights in Dream he'll go back in UFC and maybe after one or two fights he'll have chance to fight for the tittle.

    CroCop didn't actually sign with DREAM. He has denied those reports. He said he wished Dana had asked him about it rather than believeing what he hears and going directly to the press with a statement.

    On one hand i`m wondering why he would elave after such a bum fight, on the other hand i see Dana regularly screwing guys over and telling them how to fight(anderson silva) and selling people out. When they do what he wants, they`re his best friend, when they make intelligent moves and aren`t a dumb fighter to be exploited Dana cries and insults them. Screw him really, fighters are people trying to make a living by beating their bodies up close to everyday

    What a TIT, he said in a pre fight interview that it wasnt about money... Well it obviously is.
