UFC Middleweight Title contender Chael Sonnen delivered another classic quote. Right at the last 40 seconds of the interview, Sonnen drops another bomb by stating that "if you wanna be a big deal at your local strip club - go to Showtime". West Linn, Oregon native will have to wait for the Silva vs. Belfort fight at UFC 112 that will determine who he will face for the UFC Middleweight Title.

    I've also seen a recent interview with Sonnen where he says that its not the best guys that fight in the UFC but the most marketable guys, and that no one actually knows who the best fighter, saying MMA needs something like the Olympics where everyone gets a chance and as long as you are the best you become the best.

    this dudes drunk. he acts like he's been fighting in the ufc his whole career. when they drop his ass after silva whoops him, he'll be on showtime too. but he did fight great. i was rooting for him cause i'm not a big nate fan. but he's really full of shit. belfort has a 1 punch chance to beat silva and when it doesn't land he will get beaten. and as far as belfort never being beat on the feet, how about sonnen's first coach, randy couture give belfort his first beating on the feet. liddel did it too.

    belfort is the only fighter that anderson silva will have fought that we can say is equal ground as far as their striking abilities. anderson silva has made a name for himself beating for the most part bums, Hendo and Marquardt have been his highest level opponets. UFC needs to hold a 16 man torney in each weight class.

    belfort has good hands but he has no heart. his best wins are within the first few minutes of the fight. on the ground he was known as a phenom, but he got tapped out by allistair overeem in pride. then in the rematch at strikeforce, he layed on his ass for three rounds and didn't even care that the fans were booing and leaving. beside, he has never fought at this weight and he got this shot over somebody who already kicked his ass. dan henderson. ufc screwed up this one bad. they're just taking your money

    Yeah cause... Fedor, Mousassi, Hendo, Diaz, MIller, Shields,Overeem,Melendez, ( plus all the DREAM fighters as well, since they have an agreement with SF to share fighters) Aoki,Souza,Alvarez,Sakurai,..etc. etc. etc.,the list could go on and on! Not to mention the most respected by far,Womens MMA league is in Strikeforce as well! This all clearly means if you fight there you're NOT a top level fighter and are only impressive to local yokels at strip clubs and bars..that comment was complete bullshit and just plainly fuking idiotic.I like Chael and agree with most of what he says...but at that conference he had Dana's cawk wedged in his mouth.

    Strikeforce has been putting on some damn good shows, minus a few lack luster fights here and there....UFC 109 was a snoozefest for the most part.3-4 good fights on it, the rest were absolutely horrible.

    Funniest part of it all is fighters and retarded fuk all fans...standing behind Dana and Zuffa when they bash other organizations like they got fuking stocks in it or something.UFC is a brand name not a sport!

    that's american mma. japan was still doing there thing even though our government was screwing it up for us. the ufc had to compromise there rules in order to make people happy which causes guys like shogun and rampage to not be able to stomp or knee there opponent on the ground. both ar legal in japan. if mma died in the u s, japan would have held it up for the real mma fan. i used to travel 40 miles to get my mma tapes when it was banned in the u s. where? japantown in san francisco. and i'm not japanese.

    Personally, i don't like this guy, he's got too many bad things to say about fighters who are leagues above him, he's not fit to lick the sweat off Silvas balls. I was convinced Marquardt was going to destroy him and he should of, he is clearly the better fighter, he gave that fight away. Shame because i was hoping to see Nate get another crack at Silva, or Belfort should Silva lose his belt in their bout. It was made clear before the fight to both parties that the fight was a title eliminator too so in the interest of fairness they should give Sonnen his shot. Marquardt will be sick as a dog now................
