Chuck is a great fighter who helped the sport grow in leaps and bounds. He represents whats good in mma. At this point retirement should be an option he considers. Granted he still has the ability to fight but the human body can only take so much punishment..Thanks for all you've done and we all look forward to watching your name be among the others in the hall of fame.

Damn, he looks pretty sad, that makes me sad. Chuck's one of the greatest fighters in the history of all kinds of fights (MMA, boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, w/e) He's The best!!!!!!!

He put on a good fight against rua though, he's just awesome

Way to go out with class Chuck, forever the best. Deserves to fight still, made UFC what it is today. 1 punch changed that very entertaining fight that Liddell, I must say looked pretty good in.

I missed this fight live and had to watch it the next day.. man i was devastated to see him loose like that tho. im a fan of chuck always whether win or loose. mma and the ufc would be the same without him. hes gona be in the hall of fame for sure

I think Dana White is going to take care of Chuck Liddell, he made UFC what it is today, besides Chuck is still in the Top Ten. Affliction or any other promoters would be more than willing to pay 200-300k to have him sign a multi-fight contract. He brings people in to watch because of his die hard style. Dana will do it but I think he really doesn't any choices either, and he knows this.
