    Ahhh, I wanted Randy to win. But I bet if it were anyone else Randy would have knocked them out because he was landing some good flush punches, but Nog could always take a beating. Wish Randy were 10 years younger though when this fight happened.

    I think Randy should considder staying at LHW for a while. He is a small HW. I don't think he is done. Couture still has a few good fights left in him. If he didn't, he wouldn't have made it to this decision. None the less, I am still a HUGE Randy Couture fan.

    Randy has ALOT of fight eft in him giving that just about anyone else would have been finished, the fact that he could put on when you'd throw in the towel for 95% of the best fighters says loads. Nogueira is mutant tough, hands down the best chin/toughest guy in MMA, a nightmare for brock since he's not about to go down to hammerfists and loves being on his back

    Great fight but Randy got a bad rap... Nog. fought a great fight but I did not see all the controll everyone says happened. I thought they were both doing great. Randy got rocked but so did Nog. Maybe I just wanted Randy to win. Lol Great fight! Randy has one more fight in his contract, just wonder what he will do. Retire as the greatest heavy of all time in the UFC or fight again to get a little more money out of this whole thing then retire the great one. We will find out.

    I just now need to know WHY but WHY they stopped Brock vs Randy fight when Randy was down but obviously still fully consciousness and still defending himself...and here where he was almost KOed and barely survived somehow, they still didn't stop the match...

    Same for Minotauro vs Mir...

    i'm impressed by Nog's performance. He did well. I think he deserves a rematch with Frank mir, because Frank caught him on a bad day. If they both fight near to 100% it would be a different fight.

    Nog likes to win by submission, i think he could of GNP'd him if he wanted for the knockout. But Randy is not washed up, he still has a good few fights left in him. But he probably would not stand a chance against Fedor. I think randy should face crocop.

    The fight was freaking awesome!! All the talks about it wasn't that good, kind of boring is BULL, look how many other fights go three rounds and absolutely suck, look no further than the Fitch/Thiago fight at UFC 100, and those guys are younger than Nog and Randy and couldn't go like that.

    Hi I am Frank the "know it all" Mir. I know everything about MMA because I am a martial artist. My father was a karate master and I've been training since I was a little kid.

    I want to challenge Fedor because I think I could beat him. I have an iron chin as you saw in the Brandon Vera fight and I got great G&P defense as you saw in the Lesnar fight.

    I think my boxing is the key to beating Fedor. I am a tall striker with good hands.

    So in the end I would beat Fedor, who is worse than Brock, because:
    A) My ground skills are better - Lesnar fight
    B) My striking is better - Brandon Vera fight
    C) My chin is better - Marcio Cruz fight

    Man... woulda been cool if it was a five round fight... woulda been awesome to see Nog hush the natural to sleep in a sweet RNC. It was bound to happen given a bit more time... Although, Nog may have KO'd Randy with strikes before getting the chance to submit him. Either way, Randy's reputation was saved by it not being a title fight, so I guess it's cool that it was only three rounds.

    My name is Fedor and I am the current WAMMA and last reigning Pride Champion. I am known for beating a lot of cans. But I also took out more top HWs than anyone else. I beat Nog, Cro Cop, Sylvia and Arlovski.

    I really wanted the Randy fight because Randy is the most overrated fighter at HW. He is okay at LHW but at HW, Dana did a great job marketing him as "Captain America."

    Dana has been saying that I am a product of Pride's marketing. LOL! Randy is a bigger marketing farce than I ever was and will be. At HW Randy has lost to Barnett, Lesnar, and Ricco (Top HWs). His notable wins at HW are Rizzo (who sucks), Sylvia (who he beat by points) and Gonzaga (overhype).

    I would LOVE to fight Randy. If Nog could drop him, I could kill him. I could finish the fight anyway I want to.

    Brock when 2 rounds with Randy? I bet Randy wouldn't last a round with me. I bet all my Strikeforce ownership share on that.

    I am gonna go cash out my $30 million Strikeforce check..while laughing all the way to the bank now~~!

    Two legends going the distance. I am very impressed by both fighters.
    Nogueira is back in shape. Couture was in many critical positions, but survived against the best BJJ fighter in the heavyweight division.
    The only thing I didn't like was the Frye-Takayama moment at the end of round one. Everything else was absolutely world class.

    randy is nearly 50 years old and still hanging in with the best of em in a weight class that he doesn't belong in. Noguiera was clearly the larger fighter and his size was at his advantage. Any other fighter would have been submitted or dropped with the exception of brock. Kudos to randy for his couragous performance and who knows what would of happened had it been a championship fight and of gone 5 rounds.

    When Randy is in there the pace is fast and nonstop. It's amazing for anyone to go all 3 rounds with that old man. But Big Nog is no joke. He's past his prime but don't count him out just yet. Great fight.

    That was definitely MMA at it's Finest. Nogueira lands heavy shots! Randy lands heavy shots! Nogueira locks in a submission! Couture escapes the submission. Sweeps, elbows, bruises, blood, and HEART! Those two legends put on an amazing fight. Fights like that are the reason I first got into MMA and the reason I still watch.

    Damn good fight! Minotauro couldve ended it the first round i think, if he wouldve kept hitting Couture after the huge punch, but the clearly wanted to submit him. Randy showed a lot of heart thought cuz he never tapped out or got knock out. overall awesome fight though!
