only one in the UFC who has a chance of beating Aoki is penn. and if they fought in the UFC right away then Aoki would loose because dream 12 is the first time dream fighters will fight in a cage + in the UFC Aoki couldnt wear his super special pants!

This guy above me = retard
He should come to the UFC just because if he thinks hes the best he should fight the best and people say that there is other organizations out there that have better fighters than the UFC why dont the people from those other organizations come and see how great the fighters in the UFC are. BJ would destroy him, Deigeo would beat the **** out of him, Sherk would man handle him, and Florian would actually finish that fight.

what many of you don't realize is that Dream Pays more.
Being a big fish in a small pond that pays well is better than leaving your home to fight big names and be paid less and treated like a slave by Dana white.

Nah, he should stay where he's at.
Aoki is one of the few incredibly gifted, highly entertaining fighters who would do best (for themselves and for their fans) to stay out of the UFC. Nick Diaz is another example. They're fun to watch, but they wouldn't fit well in an organization that so fixated on hierarchy and vertical career paths (i.e.) getting to the belt.
There are at least seven talented strikers in the lightweight division who would body Aoki in the first third of the first round. Let the man continue to do magical moves on other asians and euro-midgets with questionable hands.
And in Strikefore Nick Diaz can continue to dismantle meathead knockout artists w/ his East African endurance and titanium beard, but there are 7 welter weights who'd take him down and gnp him to a dull three round victory. Kind of like how his little brother can dazzle us against a explosive bad-ass athlete like Melvin Guilliard, but will never beat a Joe Daddy/Sanchez/Sherk etc because he's too skinny and weak to handle their wrestling and they can muscle out of his sub setups.

    okay........
this dude said he can beat all the UFC light heavywts - okay... There isn't many elite lightweights outside the ufc so who is he fighting? He would be a little better than avg. if he was in the ufc. He gotta big mouth. He would get broke up against Penn , Sanchez , Maynard, Florian. ( insert name here ) . **** this guy

"It's a shame it always has to happen under the banner of the American corporate fat cats isn't it.... "

Yeah what a shame, fighters get paid and have incentive to perpetuate the sport. We should just have MMA in a magic fantasy world where a sport can thrive without money and we can just slow the rotation of the planet so fighters can have an extra few hours to actually train after they get done working their 9-5...

Or you could stop crying and be happy that some fat cats took a dieing organization and created a market with it...

Aoki is a whiny little bitc h he fakes an elbow shot to the neck when fighting JZ the first time then he won by a lackluster fan favorite decision the second. Keep the dumb faking Jap in Japan, he doesnt belong in the UFC with his lackluster performances, even if he is good. His style would be boring as hell to the American mainstream.

It doesnt matter how good Aoki's grappling/submission skills are, I dotn see him being able to take BJ down soon enough before he can pick him apart in the standup

    penn vs aoki
Aoki would have to fight Florian right off the bat if he beat Florian he would get a shot, kinda like Belfort but I agree him an Hansen and Alvarez all belong in the major league's (UFC).Oh yeah none stand a chance against BJ and Diego will be made an example out of just like Stevenson.

After he gets his ass handed to him by hansen this will no longer be relevant question. Besides, he wont be able to use his goddamn hideous pants in the UFC, and god knows how much his guard submissions are helped by those.

bj's got a better chin than aoki, but aoki's submissions are the best in the world. out of the 155's only aoki has a chance to beat penn, and i actually think he would beat him

Yes so Penn could destroy him, that is if aoki could actually put a couple wins together. Let's face it his stand up is horrible.

    I'd love to see Aoki/BJ

so we could properly decide the best LW of all time (even though I personally believe it's the Prodigy)...

...when BJ fought Gomi (this was Prime Gomi too) he went some way in cementing that.

It'd be a good to see Aoki in the UFC, the dude's grappling skills/felxibility are ridiculous, but I think Penn defensively would negate that and pick this dude apart on his feet or even dominate from top position on Shinya. Submitting Penn doesn't really seem viable.

Still, would like to see the matchup

    Peace peoples.
