  Dana White and the UFC....
  Everyone interested in this sport has to understand that the UFC is the mainstream, it is NOT the pure form of mixed martial arts. If you want the pure form there are tons of other fight circuits around the world to follow and watch. They rank from no-training street fights all they way up to Pride, WEC, or the UFC. The UFC is a business, straight and simple. Dana white gets tons of sh** for the way he does things, but most people that judge him and others involved in the UFC do not know anything outside of UFC or TUF, so they believe that the entire sport has "Sold out". If you want no rules hardcore fighting then go watch clips on youtube or something like:
  Rio's Heroes
  Underground Cage Fighting
  Irish Bare Knuckle Fighting
  
  The list is huge, just look around.
  Just think to yourself "Would I know about MMA if it wasn't for Dana White?".
  Of course there are some people that will claim to have been involved for more than 10 years, most cannot.
  If you do not like Dana White for the way he runs the business, fine, think wlovever you want its a free country, but at least try to educate yourself before ripping into things. You only know what they want to show you, including the fighters.
  If you do not like Dana White because the way the fighting is in the UFC then don't watch or follow it, there are tons of others to watch. Does Dana own some of the other MMA circuits? Yes. Can you explain what is truly wrong with that? Again for Dana it is a business on one hand and a passion for fighting on the other. It is truly hard to balance both to please everyone.
  Now you can all be defensive and rude with your comments, and do everything possible to avoid a conversation worth having.This is my opinion and it is my right to voice it, period!
