Dana White Wants Vitor Belfort vs. Anderson Silva Bout

During the live broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on Spike TV, during a sponsored segment UFC President Dana White told Amir Sadolla (TUF 7 Winner) that he would like to re-sign Vitor Belfort (18-8) in order to pit him against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva for the belt.

“While [Anderson Silva] is fighting Forrest [Griffin], I’m working on some other 185 pounders. Vitor Belfort - he is a former heavyweight who moved down to 205. Now he’s at 185 pounds. He’s got great hands, he’s good on the ground, and if his head is right, he can be a very dangerous guy. I think that would be a great match up.”

Anderson silva vs victor belfort would be a dream fight. But first Victor has to get by jorge santiago, who has greatly improved since being released by the UFC. Anderson has to get by forrest griffin, who is looking to get back in the title picture.

These are two of my favorite fighters. Not sure how that match-up would workout, but it would be exciting for sure. I might have to fly in and see that one in person.

Its a good idea actually. It will get Vitor back into the spotlight if hes the old Vitor we all remember.
If Wandi loses, its no real shocker since he lost last time in like 10 seconds.
If Wandi wins, it will make him look like hes having a good comeback.
Its a win win situation for both fighters and the UFC.

F*** off! Thats a great fight. Vitor beat Wanderli Silva in about 20 seconds. He is awsome and seems to be back on track. Shut up and watch the fights and stop trying to predict the winner. Thats why they fight.

Vito 18-8 Belfort vs Anderson one of the best p4p fighters in the world Silva? Sorry I'm not really looking forward to that match-up.I always liked watching Vito fight, he was an entertaining fighter and all, don't get me wrong,.....but common! This will be Silva's fight all the way, Belfort cutting to 185..big deal, Anderson walks around at 220lbs as well.Shitty match-up in my opinion, gotta come better then that.How about a Yushin Okami rematch!?
