Dana White talks about UFC Undisputed 2010, says "EA Sports Sucks!"

Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White discussed the next UFC video game, Undisputed 2010. White is happy with THQ's passion for the sport and their desire to improve 2009 edition of UFC Undisputed. Dana White also related to EA Sports company and their early refusal to produce Mixed Martial Arts game, saying it is "not a real sport". UFC president summed-up his thoughts by saying that "EA Sucks".

    EA 3 years ago (which is the EA Dana is talking about) sucked yes no doubt, hated them.

    EA today, is awesome, half of the best games in the last 6 months have been EA games and its going to continue that way. EA then and now is very very different.

    Do not confuse Bioware and EA. Just because Bioware is running under EA's overall banner does not mean they are finally getting it done right.

    For every good game, there are 10 more EA pieces of garbage. Wonder how EA feels about being a 10% company. Probably pretty bad. **** EA..

    i knew that the next UFC game will be huge!!
    if yoyu ever play the fisrt ufc games o man! they suck so bad!

    and the UFC 2009 game was like the demo , like the test game you know! it was like ok lets see how it works and then start from there!

    and they did the 2009 its just a test and then will start from that
    they will see the errors and flaws and make the real game from there

    and i think UFC 2010 is 'THE GAME'

    most people dont think in a year can make a diference !
    think again!

    this next UFC game! will blow everyones mind!

    If you want to play a game with just control sticks play the Wii , but if you want to play a MMA game with what a controller is made for (button smashing) play THQ's UFC. EA's Fight Nights sucked it's too slow. I'm pretty shore EA's MMA is going to be the exact same with it's slowness.

    Why does everything that has to do with MMA, that Dana White is not involved with and making money off of, sucks. EA, is he serious?? Is by far, the best gaming company in the world. Dana's attitude sucks.

    He said EA dismissed the idea of making an mma game a long time ago because they didnt think they where real fighters or a real sport. So of course he's gonna say it sux, Many people would. Me incl.

    EA is the best company in the world? Haha. They have the worst rep with the gaming commuinty. Here's a quote I read on some forum a while ago that somes it up.

    "EA are the kings of the annual franchise. And it was their employment strategies and the treatment of staff producing these cookie cutter sequels that gave them a bad name in gaming."

    UFC Undisputed will do big sellings because the casual fans will buy it. But if you know a little bit about MMA, you'd have seen that Undisputed 2009 is like playing with robots : the fights are mechanical and the ground game is horrible. "Hardcore" MMA fans will buy EA imo cuz they don't care about the name of the fighters, they want to play a realistic game.

    I've played both games and UFC undisputed is excellent, it isn't slow and robotic at all, it flows nicely, not glitchy or jumpy or anything, much better commentating too. It's the EA sports game that is slow and glitchy and compared to UFC undisputed it's a bag of shit. I can't stand Brock Lesnar but to say he isn't championship material is plain stupid, we don't think he's the champ, he IS the champ you idiot and i happen to think Brock would have a better chance than most at beating Fedor. We'll never know anyway because Fedor is too much of a pussy to come to the UFC and REALLY test himself against the best in the world without argument. I really DO rate Fedor as a fighter but if he doesn't test himself against these top fighters in the world (that all happen to be in the UFC) we'll never truly know just HOW good he is.................

    Well your just full of gargabe aren't you, took away any crediablity that you had actually played either of the new mma games. I mean if you don't understand the nature of Fedor's decision by now your just an idiot.

    Also its the UFC heavyweights that we won't know how good they are because they don't get to fight Fedor not the other way around. Also Nog, someone who Fedor dominated easily twice when he was in his prime is currently 1 fight away from a title shot.

    he said, he wants ufc undisputed to have a long running franchise like madden. dumbass. and just because madden sold so well isnt because of the quality. it was because fans like myself are very loyal to madden. i swear the last five years of madden games have been very shitty. only this year did they finally make a real madden game

    Maybe we should all just wait until both games are out before fighting about which one is the better game. In my opinion the gamers win at the end of the day with each company trying to out do the other it can only result in a better game for us to play.

    Dana White paid his athletes 4,000,000 in 2006, that is 156 people. That is roughly 25,000 per year. An average pay per view event grosses 19.6 million in revenue. This guy claimed he offered Fedor 30 million to fight in the UFC.
    What I am getting at is..Is it possible that Dana White may have said that EA said somethings that they did not really say? Do you think he might have wanted to pay them some extraordinary small sum? "EA siad that MMA is not a real sport" I am f*cking sure they don't believe that Dragon Age origins was a real time period...or Mass effect actually happened!! They don't care if something is real, all they want to do is make money. If you won't give them a good chance to make money...F*ck it!! Get THQ to make it.
