Exclusive: Kimbo Slice vs. Houston Alexander possible for UFC 107

A slugfest between Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander is looking like a strong possibility for UFC 107.

A source close to the situation advised FiveOuncesofPain.com today that although no bout agreements have been sent, at least one of the fighters has been formally approached about the possibility of the bout.

UFC 107 is scheduled for December 12 from Memphis, Tennessee, and will feature a headlining lightweight championship bout between B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez.

    I thought that Kimbo wasnt hurting MMA half as bad at the TUF jackoffs do since thats the vision the UFC WANTS to show mainstream america (its not a live show and they can spin it how THEY want) but the fanbois who were sucking on Dona's sack were all bleating along.

    Seriously, I have full confidence that if Tim Sylvia was to resign tomorrow with the UFC, everyone would goosestep right in a tell us that he was a great UFC champion who had about 8 title fights in 5 years because he would be back.

    i love how everyone says that kimbo wasn't hurt from the Nelson fight, when right after the fight Kimbo's complaining about how bad his head hurts, lol.

    Bas Rutten trained him and he won most all of his fights(3-1) Bas said that kimbo was learning just fine and then it seemed to him that Kimbo's head was getting big from his "buddies" filling him with BS about how he was unstopable. Bas said that Kimbo didn't take any direction in training before his last EXC fight and he lost.
    Bas is one of the best trainers out their, he is highly respected by brazilian/american top team, and it was likely Kimbo trying to blame everyone else for his loss than Bas' training.

    i think Kimbo would take Alexander out, he seems to have a more precise striking ability.

    I like Kimbo he already got his spirit broken by Seth Petruccelli, but not his heart, that makes him more receptive to learning, I wish he would have trained with Team Rashad in my opinion he would have learned more. Rampage is a good fighter but he doesn´t know how to transmit what he knows.

    I see this fight happening at a catchweight of 215 (Houston Alexander's last fight was as a heavyweight) or something to give Kimbo a fairly even matchup while he transitions down to 205. And really why do so many of you throw hissy fits bout kimbo being matched up against a striker. Styles make fights - giving kimbo a world class wrestler or jiu jitsu guy would just be a pointless boring fight that the same people would bitch about being lame and reminicing about the good old days in a different way.

    Kimbo is here to stay - for now at least - so just deal with it. But if Kimbo goes out and embarrasses himself in his first two ufc fights do u really think that Dana White wont boot him just like any other fighter. White's a smart guy, he knows that if kimbo causes the ufc to lose legitimacy that'll cost him more money long run than whatever kimbo might bring in short term

    Kimbo should have learned something or two from the show...If he didn't improve his ground game, he's doomed...Alexander Houston isn't the most technical fighter, but he sure can hit hard (think Jardine fight)...Both Kimbo and Houston are family guys and need to survive somehow on fighting...That should be be a strong incentive for both to do well...

    The UFC needs to start recruting people from other countries who already dominate a martial art. They should go get strikers from Mexico, Jiu-Jitsu from Brazil, Muay Thai from Thailand and train them all in MMA. This will prevent the UFC from running out of fighters.

    lol its was bass rutten who first trained him, i guess he just wanted the money and didint really train him well. after seeing kimbo fight in TUF10 hes a little more technical now although he still makes some mistakes... but he will learn along the way.

    ^---First, if your trying to watch elite mma skill it may not be worth seeing, but if you enjoy a slugfest than this is a fight to watch for. Secondly, Alexander will have to move up a weight class because i can't see kimbo dropping to lhw in that amount of time.
