Forrest Griffin: "I think I'm going on a diet and I'm 512 pounds"

Forrest Griffin really didn't have much to talk about, but one thing he did talk about was his last fight against Tito: "I don't know, I always think I win even when the ref ask if I'm ok. I want to win, so much better than losing and I don't think he won." He also addressed why he went up to Anderson Silva and apologized to him before the Tito fight: "I wanted him to know that what I did, was for me and I had no intention of disrespecting him. I appreciated him not hitting me anymore when I was done."

    no diss, cause griffin is a good guy, buh he legged kicked him a championship, & won against shogun because shogun was injured. buh that tito fight he did deserve to win that no doubt. not syain he didint deserve those other 2 fights buh i wouldn't put it on a pedistool that fanboys like to put it on.

    but dont take away nothing from forrest hes a warrior , he just not have the skills to be the best , but i still want to watch his fights for sure!

    how did forrest become the number 1 guy in the light heavy division? when you think of rampage, liddell, shogun, evans, machida, you would never think he could beat some of those guys and hold the title. lucky he didnt meet machida cos evans punched him into a mess on the floor.

    He's referencing an old saying. The dude is a trivia machine. Half of what he says is a reference, like the Andre joke. The saying has racist roots but I'll give Forrest the benefit of doubt on this.

    Yeah, seeing him in his last two interviews has really made me dislike him. ....And be honest with yourself, people... he's doesn't have what it takes to beat the guys at the top. Shogun looked like shit when he fought Griffin. His win was a gift.

    Griffin is in touch more with reality than the average person. He is harder on himself than anyone when he loses a fight. He doesn't run off because he is ashamed, he does it to go mentally fix the problem. That was the 2nd time he had done that with the UFC, and both times he ran off to go watch replays and train harder.

    Other fighters admire him and his heart.

    Let's see any of you couch potatoes fill those shoes..

    For those people that thought my comment was weak, this is why is say it. He has been smashed by anderson, ended up a heap on the floor against rashad. If you beleive he would beat machida then you are kidding yourself. he lost to jardine, i believe he would lose to rampage if they fought again and anyone who doesnt think he asked to fight shogun knowing he was coming back from a long lay off and injuries is very, very naive.The shogun that fought him and coleman is not the same shogun who just fought machida. He was out of shape and had ring rust, he will crush griffin now. I dont say i dont like forrest i just say i cant believe he had the belt cos i believe his hard work can only get you so far. He is not champion material. Its just my view but i think ive got more chance of wining the lottery than he has of ever holding that belt again.

    Griffin has got to learn to fight with his head, and not let the fans' cheering, or opponent's jeering, get him out of his game plan.

    When he fought Evans, and started hurting Evans a little, the fans' cheers made him think he was a banger, and then, 'lights out.'

    Then he let Silva tick him off, and once again, he took chances and tried to 'bang away.'

    He just does not have the skills for those kind of fights.

    He's at his best when he's disciplined, like against Rampage.

    Unfortunately, discipline is rather tough for him.

    I have to hand it to Silva, though. He made two good fighters, Irvin and Griffin, look much worse than they really are. But he has a way of doing that....

    You don't get any 'do-overs.
