Maia: I'll bring fight to Silva

"That's what I expect. I'm not saying I will win, but I will fight to end the fight before the judges' decision.

"I want to do an aggressive fight and expose myself more. The UFC were waiting on the result of Anderson —Thales match to see what to do with me.

"They told me they were planning to give me the chance in August but because of their performance the UFC decided not put Silva in a main event very soon.

"Then they matched me and Nate Marquardt to find out the next challenger for the belt."

I love Damian Maia but he can't beat Anderson Silva. He's not in A. Silva's class, but he is a great fighter though.

Damian Maia would be a great fight against Nate Maquart, he isnt ready for someone like Andeson silva, his stand up is too good his submissions are good hes good on the ground, but his power are in his fist's.

Damian mia has great submissions, and crazy grapple but ive not seen so many stand up.. maybe after a win over nate he will be up to it.. :)

How does ufc not want to expose him to risk?!? They have to do "dream" matches outside of his division,or even his sport just to get people to bat an eye.

i give maia a shot to win, over anderson. leites was a joke and every1 knew. ufc doesn't want to expose anderson to any real risk maybe being he was hyped as the pound for pound king. if st pierre looses who can ufc hype next.
