  Thank you Hughes for using clear examples in identifying the differences between MMA and other sports. I don't think anyone in the media has used that angle. They've probably tried to avoid it in an attempt to save their own failing cash cows. Boxing has left hundreds and thousands of people dibiltated for the rest of their lives. Look and Ali if you have any doubts. He's wrecked. Just like so many others you've never heard of and never will. Now come forward to MMA. Great long timers like Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, and I could keep going. Guys who've spent most of their lives competing in MMA. They can still hold an intelligent conversation. Oh, and no drool. Let's see a boxer their age pull that one off. If they've managed to stay alive that long....

  Hughes is a decent person and a great fighter,and who can blame him for knowing who signs his checks.He has been good for the sport but G.S.P showed him the door out,lets hope this is his last fight.
