Medical Suspensions from UFC 109: Relentless

The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the list of fighters on medical suspension as a result of UFC 109.

Paolo Thiago, Matt Serra, Randy Couture, Joey Beltran, Tim Hague, Chris Tuchscherer, Phil Davis, Brian Stann, Rob Emerson, Phillipe Nover, and  Ronys Torres all made it through unscathed and were all cleared.

Mac Danzig(knee sprain) Mike Swick(left elbow injury) and Damian Maia(eyelid cut) all must seek medical clearance if they wish to fight before August 6th, while Melvin Guillard is to meet with an optometrist before March 26th.

The rest of the injuries were relatively minor, and the list looks sometrhing like this

-Mark Coleman -- Suspended until March 9. No contact until Feb. 28.

-Chael Sonnen -- Suspended until March 24. No contact until March 9 (cuts on forehead and nose).

Dan Miller -- Suspended until March 9. No contact until Feb. 28.

-Frank Trigg -- Suspended until March 24. No contact until March 9

-Justin Buchholz -- Suspended until March 9. No contact until Feb. 28.

-Rolles Gracie -- Suspended until March 9. No contact until Feb. 28.

Nate Marquardt -- Suspended until March 9. No contact until Feb. 28.
