You know what alternative futures hold now? That is pretty impressive. What I saw at the end of the round was that Bisping had regained position and had Silva in close guard, out of immediate danger.

Check out at the end of the fight after Bisping hugs Wanderlei. It looks like Rampage and Wanderlei high-five. It's cool to see that they actually kind of get along now.

Did anyone notice that Wanderlei almost kneed Bisping on the ground when he floored him at the end of the 3rd round? Man, that would bring back some great memories.

*SPOILER ALERT* to me it looked like the ref stopped it at the end of the fight he started pushing Silva away but then just let it keep going you can say he was just trying to get in a better position to see but I'd say hes a bad ref 1 last thing did u catch Bispengs reaction at the end like he won the fight even tho he was saved by the bell twice

Honestly I think the fight was extremely close and exact for Silva finishing the rounds strongly it could have gone either way.

it was a competitive fight but the winner was clear Bisping won the first round the only way you could give him the 2nd if your a retard and said he took wand down twice when the 2nd time he pulled guard for the guillotine wand won the last round the same as he won the 2nd by being the aggresor hitting alot of inside leg kicks and ending strong the decision only would of gone the other way if they were in England

As soon as bisping starts hopping around he loses it. There is no weight behind his punches when he is throwing them while hopping on one leg.
As soon as he starts going backwards, its just all over. He just backs onto the cage and sticks his hands infront of him like trying to push away. And then lifts his leg to try and stop the onslaught.
I have to say though, Silva was mega patient. Its been a while since we saw him stalking around the ring. He wasnt overly aggressive.

I agree actually, but I'm not surprised by the decision as the count the end of each rounds for 50% of the round. Silva showed his experience with his strategy of not doing anything until the last 30 sec and taking the round.

Silva definitely won the fight, but it was quite close in places, and Bisping certainly didn't disgrace himself. Apart from that, Bisping is a ultra-decent guy, he behaved like a man.
Respect to both these guys.

You have to love SIlva, there is not a more entertaining fighter on the planet. He is skilled enough to not take risks and win an easy decision, but he puts his hands down and goes toe to toe. Bisping...what can I say? finally respect him...good fight.

That was a really really close fight and if I had scored it myself I'd have given first and second round to Bisping but I understand that they score 50% of the round based on the last 30 sec. Silva mostly waited for the final 30 sec and went aggressive taking the round. It was obviously his strategy and a shame Bisping didn't push the pace more or Silva would probably have gassed.
Really good fight thou and Silva looked a lot better then he has for a long time, Bisping even thou he lost shows he is a top tier fighter, he just needs to trust himself a bit more.

Wow!!!I must have watched another fight or something, bec the one I seen live showed Silva winning rounds 2 and 3 hands down. I knew this was going to happen. No one in their right mind would think Bisping won that fight unless they were Bisping nuthuggers. Bisping won round 1 bec of takedowns and Wand's inactivity, but rounds 2 and 3 definitely went to Wand. He had the leg sweep takedowns in both rounds, about 40 legkicks combined in both rounds that were not checked so tht is points for the ones who dont know, the guillotine at the end of the 2nd, which I would also like to add was due to him pulling guard and NOT a takedown, and the knockdown at the end of the 3rd. If he would have pushed with 15 seconds left and not waiting until 10, the fight would have been done, because after the knockdown and the elbow, Bispings lights would have been shut off with one more strike and the fight would have been done. I would even go as far as saying that it could have been a tie in round 1, bec neither really did anything other than Bisping getting 2 takedowns and Wand standing right back up. And those who think Bisping won another round, give me a good logic for that? He didn't do sh*t after round 1 but sit in the pocket and get jabbed and kicked the rest of the fight, and nearly knocked out, if I may add. It was a close fight, I give him that, but to say that he won is rediculous and a bold statement. Judge the fight on what happened in the octagon and not on who you're favorite fighter is. But I see how that would be hard for Bisping fans. The ones I have came across try to give good explanations on how he actually beat Dan Henderson also. It's comical, it really is.
For the record, I don't hate Bisping. I just think most of his fans are idiotic bec of the outrageous comments they make and how they think he is 10 times better than he actually is. That must just be the Brit in them though. Also, have fun watching GSP knock Dan Hardy the f*ck out, or spend time from now until then coming up with more lame excuses on how he's also going to get screwed. You want to see a screw job? Go watch Bisping vs. Hamill in ENGLAND. If u want to see homers, they are all over that fight video.

Other than that, I'm glad to see Wand get a win under his belt starting in 185 division. He looked better than he has in any other fight since joining the UFC. I hope he can continue the success from this fight and get a good run at the title. He's a great fighter, a legend in the sport, and one of my favorite fighters of all time and I have much respect for him and what he has done for the sport. Bring on Akiyama! I want to see Wand knock him out. That will be an exciting fight for all UFC fans to see.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but I thought it was hilarious when Silva knocked him down at the end, and you see his leg was BEGGING to go for a head kick as a natural reaction. You could tell he had to hold himself back! Must have gave him a flashback from his pride days, lol
