General Manager of THQ (Toy Headquarters) Inc. discussed improvements in the next UFC game, Undisputed 2010. The game will come out on May 25th to compete against EA Sports MMA that will feature mostly non-UFC fighters.

There is no way you can actually really make a proper sequel in 1 year, it is impossible. You need at least 2-3 years to really take a game to the next level.

They need a MMA MMO SIM type of game ...Where you can walk around like (GTA free roam) and pick a gym out and talk to the team members, even sparring them or go to a bar get drunk and start fights!!

It seems like it is going to be awesome. The improvements sound great like the cage effect and practicing certain moves instead of it being so general and so like other fighters.

i hope they make fighters more unique!
in 09! almost every fighter was the same , only the best in very division had some unique things like
GSP his takedown from the over/under clinch and the axe kick!
bj penn and his punch and move back
anderson silva and his front leg kick! and crazy flying knee!
forrest and his catch the kick and punch that was cool!
and minotauro and his takedown from the clinch!
chuck and his overhand!
but all the others were the same all kickboxers the same!
all boxers the same! using rich franklin has the same thing as using henderson or nate !
more unique features for every fighter! and more real stats!
hendo striking defense 67?? wtf hendos chin is of iron! it should been like 95!
and bisping striking offense 90??? i never seen bisping ko anyone!
and shogun was a bump in the game wtf! hes the man!

now that they have affliction and pride they should use that to beat EA MMA!
you make your way uup to the ufc! instead of starting at UFC fight night!
you fight in affliction and then Pride to finnaly enter the UFC!
ps : they better not put lesnar on the cover!

nope u should work ur way up to pride haha i still dont believe that the ufc is better than pride gotta love the head stomps and soccer kicks to the downed opponent and a stupid takedown wont win the fight for u but since the ufc has all of the fighters everyone wants to see (myself included with those people) its all good

i like that idea^
i like that fighters can "study" you leading up to your fight with them
idk how they'll have it, but i'd like it if you worked your way up from lower level organizations, and maybe start off at a cheap gym cause you're lacking in skills and money, and then as you get better, you can choose a gym that will work with your style/improve where you're lacking and depends on whether or not you can join/have the money or something.

I hope so too. Career mode makes no sense in 09 because you go from fighting made up people straight to the top of the weightclass. I would like some lesser ranked fighters in between.
