Tito Ortiz will coach against Chuck Liddell in the new season of TUF 11. Tito Ortiz had this message for his fighters: "I'm getting in shape myself, so all you guys, you know who are on the show. You think you will be on my team, you better be in good shape. This season won't be about people making jokes on each other and partying. It is about creating legends the next Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell or Tito Ortiz."

He wants to create a new one dimensional fighter that would have never been a star in today's MMA world?

I wouldn't consider Couture to be very 1-dimensional really.

Chuck was not a 1 dimensional fighter either that is why it was so hard to take him down and keep him there because he was a good wrestler

Chuck was a striker with decent take down defense, I call that 1 dimensional, Couture is pretty much a pure wrestler and so is Ortiz. I call them both 1 dimensional and they were all champions during the Pride era, when all the worlds top fighters were over in Pride. Soon as Pride went under so did these "heroes of the UFC."

love him or hate him he does have a passion for the sport, yeah he is a trash talker we get those in all sports from boxing to soccer too. i hop he gets to train a guy who has low experience as tito could mould them into great fighters coz i believe if you get an experienced guy who is 33 or more its kinda hard to make them something more as they would have lost some attributes and they would also find it hard to adapt to different fighting techniques. this is my opinion..... jon jones is the next big thing as he is very matured and is willing to learn, i dont think he knew about the 12 to 6 elbows and so what. the greatest fighter in the world was disqualified before

its jones' confidence too that gives him an edge above other young fighters and under greg jackson he is set for life in mma its only up he is goin and im glad he is in the LH division coz its the most competitive even taking strikeforce into account. jones tko v Vera take down and ground n pound but hey i could be wrong he is that unpredictable

he was fighting in the UFC, if he fought in pride back then.. he would of got his big melon kicked in left and right.. UFC was weak compared to pride when Tito was making his mark.

Legends aren't made in a few weeks...FURTHER, Tito, you must be have a "legendary status" yourself to even claim that you'll turn your fighters into the likes of Couture...
Tito cannot be humble (like GSP or Fedor)...He's too arrogant and Dana gave him the best public forum to flaunt his ego on a wide wide screen...

you know its funny how long it takes sum boys too turn into men. took me till i was 20. took tito till he was 34. not knocking the guy, and every 1 can change. but man o man . tito was a lil punk ass bitch for a real long time. all of his life.pretty much well! he is tring hard too be a responsible productive mature man. and he should already been doing that. its good too see. but that last loss, was a loss! and he still gots a kiddish punk ass way about him slightly about losen his last fight maken all those excuses! dam it tito you are your own man ! if you were too sick or hurt or not ready . do what brock is doing! take your time coming back. dont fight and cry after when you lose! thats not a real mans way!

Watch Tito fight = waste of time, never lives up to the hype HE creates
I might have more respect for him if he actually for once lived up to his big talk.
