    It don't add up
So let me get this straight, Thiago wins with a bonus and still made less than the guy he beat. Phil Davis got 10,000 WITH a bonus? Does he even get a dime of that after training costs and taxes?

    Wow what a screwy system.

This excludes under the table bonus'/sponsorship deals so he probably made double or even triple that.

also they get percentages of the ppv and as well as the gate along with the sponsorships. even after fighting they will get paid everytime their fight is aired on tv so the pay might not be that bad.

And Serra got a bonus that adds up to more than like 6 of the lower fighters paychecks together for knocking out a washed up Frank Trigg.

So I guess it's get a Bonus or starve in the Ufc...

How can sponsors afford tens of thousands on multiple guys every three weeks or so? They can't be making that much off this.

"tens of thousands" is nothing for a big company to spend on sponsorships. Most of them spend millions on sponsoring athletes, race cars, events, etc.

how come randy is the only winning fighter with no win bonus seems abit unfair he steped up and made this card i mean no 1 would of bought it if it was Chael Sonnen vs Nate Marquardt main event

cuz if he lost he would still get the same amount. i'm sure he prefered it that way. plus he gets a nice % from ppv sales and sponsors

What would you prefer, a base pay of 250,000 just coming to the fight or 150,000 base pay with a win bonus of 100,000?

Once you get high enough in base pay you don't get a win bonus. I remember Josh Barnett had a base pay in one of his fights for 500,000 and no win bonus.

yea thats not good at all. The lowest paid was 4K, imagine if you suffered life long problems from one of those 4K fights, hell even lawsuits in real life for something like that would payout 100 times better.
