    Stephen, I read another of your post on a different video..and thought 'this guy has heard/learned a little about MMA but doesn't really know jack shit...he's a parrot, repeating what he's been told.' This post here proves that to be true even more so.This is MMA not BJJ, everyone you listed, Gracies and the Gracie killer himself Sakuraba have faced defeat. Helio got his arm nearly ripped off by a man named Masahiko Kimura. Hence the move he used,.. is now what's referred to as a Kimura.My point is Fedor has not been defeated, now I'm sure you would bring up the N/C as a good parrot would without even ever seeing that fight, but point remains...Fedor has never truly been defeated, the people you have listed...have. Next I'm sure you will say he hasn't faced any top contenders....he has faced some great fighters..with a mix of freakshows as well.Regardless,his competition was just as stiff as those you listed.I'm not even a huge Fedor fan, but I'm also not retarded or blind.

    I could see how Fedor is considered to be the greatest MMA fighter ever. But, right now the UFC is STACKED with great heavyweights. I think in order for Fedor to seal the title as greatest fighter ever, he will have to go against some of the guys in the UFC.

    Great HWs? THe UFC?
    A 4-1 champ? Carwin? Gonzaga? Cain? Crocop? Old Nog? Mir (he's good but great)? Old bones Couture (unless hes a LHW now)?

    Has beens, never weres and lots of rifraf.

    Actually, the HW dont really impress me anywhere.

    Do a top 10 of the best fighters not taking in account weight and the only top 10 HW would be Fedor. No other HW would even sniff the top 10 pound for pound list.

    So 'great' is all in your mind and there seems to be a lot of room in there.

    Fedor is the greatest ever and fighting a Carwin or Cock Lesnar will do nothing for his rep.
    Just like with old Nog, his reputation as one of the best HWs of all time is set already. He is nowhere the fighter he once was but that doesnt take away from this body of work.

    And yes, I think that Bas should be in a top 10 list of best ever.
    Not the best but definite top 10.

    wow... i didnt know somebody could spend so much time sucking fedors ball and still have time to check forums, let alone post in them. fedor is great, most likely the best HW in the world, but how are the fighters in strikeforce gonna help him further his reputation more than the ufc HW's? Answer: They won't. They don't have to. Fedor is fighting to get paid, not to further his reputation. He doesn't care about that. Fighting in strikeforce ensures easier victories, which in turn brings more money. He is a business man, and business is good for him. End of story.

    A 4-1 champ that has dominated a 13-4 Champion with a wealth of standing and ground knowledge. A Crazy horse with massive amounts of ring experience (28-14) and heavy hands. "Old bones Couture" that can still beat guys half his age, even in heavyweights.

    Old Nog, that really isn't "Old" at all. That has a chin like no other, and BJJ skills for days.

    ..and here comes the list..

    Roy "Big Country" Nelson (He fat, but he is still wrecking the skinnies)
    Junior Dos Santos (10-1, enough said when he fights.)
    Cain Velasquez (7-0, Good chin and walking through people)
    Stefan Struve (Good up and comer. Few more years and he will be dominate)

    For me Kazushi Sakuraba. Wanderlei Silva was his kryptonite but i think beating 4 Gracies and proving they could be beat makes up for that. The guy fought anyone (Many naturally bigger) A great showman and legend of the sport.

    Bas was the king in the early days. i truely believe that we'll see fedor fight at least one match in the ufc against mir or sombody of that calibre. I think that silva and fedor are the best to offer in todays standards, i mean look at who fedor faced in the past, Cro cop in his prime, Nog twice in his prime, he shook off nogueiras jiu jitsu like a case of fleassss and thats saying alot

    i agree. i believe mir would be the best matchup for fedor. he has an outstanding ground game(despite what a ridiculously strong brock did to him) and his standup is very underrated. that is the hw match i want to see most, next to carwin vs lesnar. it somewhat upsets me to see carwin vs mir... mostly because i believe mir is going to take away carwins shot at lesnar. i want to see lesnar get ktfo. but back to the subject... fedor vs mir would be a great matchup. mir is higher caliber than any strikeforce hw, with the only one even close being alastair overoid.

    there are a handful of HW's in the UFC that could test Fedor, just like there are in strikeforce and like there were in pride. What makes fedor the best is his ability to take punishment and keep on ticking. If you do not think fedor is the best you are either 1.) lying to yourself 2.) have not seen his fights or 3.) uneducated in MMA

    Sherdog got it somewhat right atleast. Fedor is best IN HIS DIVISION, and there's not really anyone with a full set of cards in that division besides him, not the same thing in the others.

    Now, with that out of the way i'd have to say Bruce lee because his abilities were basically superhuman, or Mas oyama because he's a relatively unknown legend(they based ryu off of him), or i'd point out how Royce gracie was undefeated back when MMA had basically no rules at all, and no weights. He didn't start losing until they added stipulations that wouldn't exist in a real fight

    Fedor dickriders need to get a new hobby or some sense.

    that fedor is the best fighter ever becouse hes not diferent than most fighters and hes pretty small for most of his opponents but it is his strenght his heart and his respect that he has for his opponent before and after the fight that makes him the warrior that he is. now i better stop before my country comes after me.

    If Fedor actually lost to somebody in a MMA fight, most people would still think he is the best fighter, since everyone knows you cannot be perfect forever...........................................................................you have to remember that the heavyweights all have one punch knockout power so anything can happen.............................................................1 or 2 losses are ok............Anderson, BJ, GSP all have losses...................nobody is perfect.....................what's amazing about the Last Emperor is that this freak just would lose....................at least not yet

    If fedor lost then the only real argument the nuthuggers had would disappear. Alot of MMA fighters have bum losses anyways. Look at shogun, the only REAL loss he has is to babalu, and the only REAL loss GSP has is to matt hughes, and if BJ penn just fought people his own size, he'd only have lost to jenz pulver...

    People talk about Fedors loss like it's not a real loss, but they cheer when someone else has the same bad luck that results in a loss. I still say Mas oyama and Bruce lee for the best MMA fighters ever, they didn't have any rules and had incredible abilities.
