    wow.... really? Brown got incredibly lucky that urijah wasnt 100%. If his hand hadnt of broken he would have put brown away for sure. If you saw his hand when it came out of the glove it was clearly broken and he still finished all 5 rounds? Hes a fu**in beast. And Brown still couldnt put away a handicapped urijah and you guys still think Brown is a better fighter? Are you serious? Can you say bias? Honestly.... Brown only won cause urijah got unlucky period.

    Well Brown is a bull, he chose to stand because he broke Faber's hand with his face. Hit cement and you break your hand. If he NEEDED to take it to the ground Faber would have been choked out. They both are awesome. But I think Brown took it easy on him because of the broken right paw.

    Faber's Fault
    I am so sick of people not looking at the facts. I dare you Faber fans to pause the video on the punch that hit Brown in the head. It was a slap punch!!! (meaning he connected with the palm side of his fist) that's how he broke his hand. He throws a lot of punches that way (easy way to break your hand). Faber did not lose because he broke his hand, but "how" he broke his hand!!! Brown has solid form and Faber paid the price, once again, for being unorthodox with Brown.

    Many talk about how Faber has this full arsenal of weapons. where were they??????? As stated before many fights have been won with broken hands, ribs, toes, noses......Brown is an excellent fighter and deserved to win regardless..I would like to see a third; just for the mere fact that brown can put it all to rest. Faber is wild and relies on his spinning elbow "which is how he got beat last time. Watch the fight and see how often he used that spin...typical faber. admit it he met someone that is better than him

    I suppose you have a good excuse for Faber in the first fight. Oh nooo!! Brown cheated by knocking him on his ass! Nice try. Watch the fight again learn the proper way to punch by watching Brown. Look at the angle of Faber's punches, that is why he hurt "both hands". Faber lost by his own device "in both fights". By the way count the take downs and see who has the real horsepower. Faber is afraid of Brown, just like he is afraid of Tyson Griffin, who out wrestled him. Faber's slap punches are not going to get the job done against fighters like Brown and Griffin.

    both are great fighters. brown deserved the win. it definitely could have gone differently if Faber didn't break his hand. with an orthodox vs unorthodox fight the unorthodox one usually wins (equal skill) go watch some fights rather than making up crap. And if you say a broken hand doesn't affect the fight you are a frickin idiot. end of story.

    Brown=orthodox, Faber=unorthodox. The first fight Faber lost because of his unorthodox style. The second fight Faber lost because of an unorthodox style. Unorthodox fighting will cause a broken hand believe me I know. Calculated punching is safer and will win in the long run. When you put an excellent orthodox against and excellent unorthodox 75% of the time the orthodox fighter will win because of mistakes by the other fighter (like broken hands). Guaranteed !!!!!!!!

    He really did break it. I saw the x-rays and it looked pretty bad.

    I dunno, about the only round he won was when his hand was good. Fighting with only one hand, trying to strike and grappple and defend takedowns is a pretty big deal, especially given that it was only a decision victory.

    Did the broken hand effect the fight yes, but however u still cant say faber would have won though cause say if faber throws a big right hand and misses and brown counters and KOs him. Its a completely different fight and could have had a different outcome and it could have gone either way

    I just don't like Faber
    I know both fighters are good and all, but the fight wasn't what I was expecting. The way I see it, both were a little "weary" of the abilities of the other and were not willing to take the initiative to jump into a potentially fight-ending situation. They were just being cautious...fair enough.

    Either way though, I just don't like Faber's "I'm an MMA god so suck it attitude...it's annoying. he's the guy that watches himself in the mirror at the gym....kissing his own biceps...you just want to knock 'em out for being a complete jackass.

    So...faber would have won last time if he didnt get his azz knocked out trying stupid sheit on an experienced fighter. Lost this time because he broke his hand. Any more excuses? Brown won the first round before the hand was broken anyways. How many times does does Brown have to beat faber before he's give respect? N quit with all the Faber shoulda, coulda , wouldas. Damn.

    pps. Faber did break his hand but brown would've won anyway because he is a more technical and dangerous striker and his wrestling is just so much stronger than faber's grappling

    How can you say that brown doesn't have any weapons that could put faber away when brown knocked him out in the first fight? I'm still in shock that people think that urijah faber is better than brown when brown controlled the entire 2nd fight and knocked him out in the first fight. Urijah faber just isn't strong enough to contend with brown, and he isn't skilled enough to submit him. People need to face the fact that brown is one of the top 10 pound for pound fighters in the world and urijah is merely 2nd best.
    P.S. thx for continually underestimating dominant fighters like brown, machida, and lesnar, its allowing me to make a fortune in my bets

    I originally rooted for Brown, now I am a converted Faber fan: it's quite clear most people who posted have no idea about fighting (or just about anything at all) -- fighting 4 rounds without your main weapon, WITH a broken hand is unbelievably impressive.
    Barring future mishaps, I guarantee Faber in the rematch. Brown just doesn't have any weapons that could put Faber away.

    Brown controlled the entire fight. I didn't see one round go to Faber. He landed a few good shots on Brown, but Brown was far more dominant. Faber had to keep using the front kick just to keep Brown off him. Brown was relentless. Great fight. Maybe another rematch in the future???

    heres the facts, one urijah broke his hand badly in the first. and two despite this fact, brown could not put him away for four rounds Whilst possibly losing the fifth (not to mention nearly choking him out if he just had his Wrist. what does that say, urija would have won but was stupid for punching someone on their crown with that much force. lol

    What do you mean he couldnt take him out, who won, who has the belt so he didnt knock him out this time, last time faber had two good hands brown did knock him out, so when I imagine what would happen like you say, i see faber gettin rocked and everyone calling it luck and when he wins by judges its because faber got hurt, faber cant handle brown rather brown breaks fabers bones and it goes to the judges or if he just knocks him cold two good hands and all brown is number one.

    Everyone is talking about faber breaking his hand, if your body isnt strong enough to keep up wioth the fight thats one way of losing, you breaking your hand means your body isnt strong enough to fight someone like Brown browns hands didnt break he won AGAIN and urijah faber is now number two, face it.

    ^^^ exactly, and said another way,Brown's body was in better condition. He didn't break his hand.

    They want rematch after rematch until the law of averages take over and Faber finally wins ( because Brown has an appendicitis attack during the fight). They can then say ..see, we told ya Faber is better. and with that there would be NO rematch for Brown. Their line would be, 'why would a rematch be in order, Faber beat him".

    This is all about marketing. Faber is the face of WEC. Sadly for the Zuffa boys, he isn't the champ and was beat by the champ twice...and beat impressively.

    IMO, Faber should have to fight someone like Aldo. Not a situation where Brown fights Aldo and then faber gets a shot a title again. God forbid is Faber fights someone like Aldo and gets his ass kicked again.....what would the marketing team of Zuffa do then?

    That was an awesome fight, Brown is one of those diamond's in the dirt that ain't been found until he fought Urijah. If Urijah's hand was broke he did a damn good job to finish the fight, he's still a cannon but u still have to give props to Brown. REMATCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    at the end of the fight faber really was dramatizing his hand injury, i think that brown won fair and square, he was dominating faber multiple times....but we'll see, fabers hand will heal. he will beat up another contender, then fight brown again if brown defends against aldo.....who is an even more dangerous striker than faber

    they both had a good fight. his hand was broke. i have done that and its not an excuse. it hurts. i think fabre is a champ for going all 5 rounds with one hand. brown also did good. of course urijah had to do some unorthedox striking. you have to do something when you only have one hand. not giving fabre an excuse but i think he would have pulled it off if he hadnt broke his hand. props to brown for fighting like a champ.

    Please....... Faber is such a showboat. For someone who broke his hand, he used it often enough through out the fight. The hands is probably sprained at the most but we had to see Mr. Showboat shaking it so the world knew this would be the reason he lost....pure bs.

    Through out the fight Florian and his sidekick also did their part in helping the "face of the WEC" by highlighting and propping up Faber as much they could. The only time Brown was given credit was when he got off a good shot or had Faber on the ground ready for a good submission.

    I have no interest in seeing a Faber vs Brown 3 but I'm sure the Zuffa boys will see it another way. After all, Faber is the poster boy of the org.

    If you hardly ever miss a live fight, then how did you watch all of the other WEC fights in the past?? WEC is exclusive to VS (versus). VS comes in just about every cable package. If you have Spike then you probably have VS.

    Faber breaks his right hand in rd 1, but makes it to the last round. that was some bad luck for Faber.
    Brown fought the other 4 rounds against a handicapped Faber and STILL couldnt put him away. the first fight was a mistake.

    yea im just really bitter that it went that way. >=[
